THE GEAR I USE

Camera Gear

If you were curious about the gear I use or have used in the past, this page is for you.

Having the best gear doesn’t guarantee that you will start taking amazing photos and videos; some of my favorite pictures I’ve ever taken were taken with my first camera.

I’ve linked all the products below!

CAMERA GEAR

MY FIRST CAMERA

NIKON D5600

A Great starter body with a 24.2 MP sensor.

MY SECOND CAMERA

NIKON Z5

A step up from the D5600. Full frame sensor, better In-Body Image Stabilization, Autofocus, and a whole lot more.

A vintage Nikon film camera with a large lens, silver and black body, and various dials and buttons.

FILM

NIKON FM2

My film camera. Extremely durable and can operate without batteries. Read my review here.

A close-up of a vintage camera lens showing the aperture and focus markings with various numerical values.

NIKKOR 28MM F/2.8 AI-S

The one lens I’ve shot film with. It’s extremely sharp; the biggest drawback is that it’s fully manual. Shooting with a manual lens has really helped me gauge my focal distances, and it feels amazing when you get the focus just right.

MY CURRENT CAMERA

SONY A7Cii

A step up in both photo and video from the Z5. Full frame 33MP sensor with 10-bit 4:2:2 video recording capabilities. Sharper autofocus with real time tracking. Read my review here.

MY EVERYDAY LENS

SIGMA ART 24-70 F/2.8

Best value for money lens out there.
